New Year's Jitters, be forgot...

Let's face it: there's a fine line between an early night and a complete cop-out on New Year's Eve.
As much as we might pretend we're happy with a hot toddy and the ability to wake up fresh on the first of January, there's often that niggling feeling you wish you'd been invited somewhere incredibly glamorous, with a champagne coupe tower and a chocolate fountain. But surely there's a middle ground?

Here at Bangle, we've diligently compiled a list of possible options for those who want to venture into the Big Smoke despite the fact you'll have to pay full whack for your travel this year (sob sob, we know).
1) Jigs at The George, Fitzrovia
With a traditional Irish band on site and a choice of feasting menus, you also have the option to join for the midnight toast (bubbles included) at the eminently reasonable price of twenty quid.
2) Jazz, nice
Chiswick's new kid on the block, The Hound, will host a four-course banquet with early sittings available from 5.30pm. For £75 per person, you can enjoy fine dining and a glass of fizz, followed by a live jazz and soul band. And if you're not peckish, just rock up from 10pm for a tenner.
3) Smooth sax at the Cadogan
Chelsea's King's Road welcomes saxophonist and DJ, Sasha Gigi, for a four-course menu featuring traditional British food. Slightly steeper, at £100 per person, this is one for the slickest young fogeys.
Bon chic, bon genre, bonne année et bonne santé!
